Tarun Lala, Executive Director, Fanzart – Co-Owns Street Ball League Team, in a Game That’s Rocking the Country

Tarun Lala, Executive Director, Fanzart, a Luxury designer fans brand, is now the proud co-owner of Southside Warriors, a 7-member team in the Street Ball League – a first-of-its-kind 3on3 basketball tournament. Conceptualized and initiated by youth icon brothers Rannvijay Singha and Harman Singha, these high-octane games are taking the country by storm.

Central to every team is an all-star player and the Southside Warriors have Telugu actor Arvind Krishna playing for the team. The games are currently underway with the 4th round beginning in November. SonyLIV has picked up telecast rights for the tournament.

Speaking on co-owning the team, Tarun Lala says, “The 3on3 format is new and is creating waves internationally, and is particularly getting popular along with the street ball culture and of course, the rise of streetwear. The league model of sports promotion is doing wonders for sports and it’s easier to catapult a game to the limelight going through the street ball version of it. Our team is co-owned by Rohit Loka Reddy who is also the team captain and Parvatha Harshini Reddy. As an intra-state player myself, giving back to the sport in any way I can is the way I look at it”.

Tarun Lala adds that the team also has sponsors with Amaron, Gamepoint and Apollo on board. The adrenaline rush and spirits are high with the game, and Fanzart’s Tarun Lala is happy to be among the proud owners of a great team.
